Formerly a software engineer for Stack Exchange, wm day to day was with the core team, working on the Q&A platform that runs the different sites – Stack Overflow being the biggest one.
Before that, I had freelanced as a .NET programmer, mainly working on back-end systems for different websites, in the fashion industry more often than not.
My professional programming career began with VB 6.0 and SQL server 6.5, followed by classic ASP (utilizing HTML, CSS and JavaScript) – these days I program mostly on the .NET platform with C#, though am getting more and more interested in the functional style.
My work has mostly been web-centric with a look towards high performance, usability and security.
