The language of StackOverflow is English.
Do not post in another language, as your question will get closed promptly.
Check your spelling and grammar, and do not use text speak (type “you” instead of “u”, “please” instead of “plz”). This show that you care to be understood, so others will be more likely to respond.

Make sure the post title is descriptive of your problem.
Titles such as “I have a problem with xxx” are not descriptive and chances are that many people will ignore the question and not even click through.

Be polite. The people who answer questions on StackOverflow are volunteers and are not paid to do so.
Being rude will result in your question getting ignored or closed fairly quickly. This includes demands for code, giving deadlines, citing urgency and using swearwords.

Don’t post about a problem without stating an actual question – make sure you post the question in the body of the question, not just in the title.
This will ensure people will see a question that can be answered.
